Leore Faber, Psy.D.
Therapy is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give yourself. It is a challenging process through which you will learn about your relationships, characteristic patterns, and how to better cope during times of distress. In my psychotherapy practice I value open-mindedness, introspection, humor, logic, and honesty. Most of all, I am eager to learn and understand your personal story.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I received my doctoral degree from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and a masters in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. I completed my clinical training at the New York Center for Children, Columbia University Medical Center, and the Jewish Child Care Center. I have treated and evaluated individuals with interpersonal relationship challenges, trauma symptoms, mood dysregulation, family conflicts, anxiety, and depression.
In addition to private practice work , I am currently the lower school psychologist at the Stephen Gaynor School, a school for students with language-based learning differences.
